AEROPRAKT LINE OF AIRCRAFT

Since its formation in the early 1990's, Aeroprakt has been building aircraft at its factory in the west of Kiev, in Ukraine. They have now produced well over 1,100 aircraft and have established a global reputation for rugged, well designed aircraft which are safe to fly and easy to maintain.
Founders Yuriy Yakovlev and Oleg Litovchenko originally worked together at the Antonov Aircraft Design Bureau in Kiev and their mutual passion for small light aircraft led them to form Aeroprakt. Yuriy is now CEO and chief designer, while Oleg looks after the commercial side of the business.
Aeroprakt currently employs almost 100 people, many of whom have been with them since the early days, now building close to 90 aircraft a year.
Aeroprakt also operates from its own airfield near Kiev, where there is a thriving club and flying school, using both A22 and A32 aircraft, as well as facilities for test flying and maintaining aircraft

VSTOL wing design

An extremely thorough test program means the A22LS and A32 are safe and predictable across the entire flight envelope. The wing is based on a 'D' box section leading edge structure and has 'slotted' flaps, designed to give safe predictable handling right down to stall speeds. The wings have built-in tanks with a total capacity of up to 114 litres of fuel

Robust and simple construction

The monocoque fuselage has a rectangular cross section in the A22 or a circular section in the A32 Vixxen, and the stiffness of the structure is assured by a number of bulkheads on which the wing and landing gear are mounted to. The wing-fuselage link is completed by a dual spar and single lift-strut with just four precision fitted bolts, allowing easy wing removal for road transport or repair

Wide range performance envelope

100m to take off, climbing at 1,000fpm and crusing on 18lph of fuel..  our aircraft combine a unique quity of performance in a light weight yet strong airframe. Regardless if you fly for fun on the weekends, or daily around the station or in a flight training envirment - we have a solution suits for you

A32 VIXXEN

Want to combine cross-country speeds with very short take-offs and landings? Then the Vixxen is for you! We believe the flight envelope of this aircraft is truly unique in its sheer spread of speeds, allowing the pilot to land and take off in very small spaces, loiter safely at slow speed or cruise cross-country to go places quickly. And with the high wing, the view out is almost matchless. And as several owners have commented, the more you fly it, the more you realise what a great aircraft this is!

A22LS FOXBAT

The key word for the A22LS Foxbat is 'rugged'. This aircraft has been tried and tested in Australian conditions for over 15 years. It has stood up well to intensive use on farms and in flying schools. Its simple construction allows easy maintenance and field repairs. Its flight handling has been properly tested and is safe down to stall speeds. There are no nasty surprises in store for the novice and in the hands of an experienced pilot, this aircraft will truly amaze! And for a limited time only, the A22LS Foxbat comes with free Garmin Aera 660 with panel mount!

A22LS KELPIE

At its heart, the Kelpie is an A22LS Foxbat. However, it has been enhanced with the landowner/farmer in mind. The Kelpie is fitted with bigger tyres, climb propeller, UHF radio (operated through the headsets), a heavy duty metal luggage bin with side-door access and a 100W Australian made siren. Capping it off are plastic shields for the landing gear and tailplane leading edges and a sunscreen in the cabin. Like its namesake, this Kelpie is ready for work!
