Stop press - apology!!
I must correct an error in my latest Foxbat Newsletter - in fact the first VH- registered Foxbat in Australia was Bo Hannington's VH-OBO which featured in glowing orange at the top of the page. My apologies to Bo for the inadvertant mistake - I had intended to say 'first factory-built LSA Foxbat to be VH-registered'.

Bo's Foxbat was built from a kit and first flew in June 2007 - almost 18 months ago. Bo is one of the leading lights of SAAA and also built his RV6A, which is kept in the hangar with the Foxbat. Probably my ideal combination of aircraft - the RV for going places fast (Bo has flown his RV from his Serpentine, WA, base across to the east coast and back a number of times) and the Foxbat for weekend pottering round the skies and over the beaches south of Perth.

And you should see the orange paintwork in the flesh - it is quite stunning! Sorry for the mistake, Bo.
