Adding options

There is a selection of optional equipment available to customise your Foxbat aircraft. Please note: all the options can be ordered with new aircraft - some options may or may not be capable of retro-fitting at a later date.

Item (all prices include fitting, GST and any allowance for replaced parts)

Engine options

Rotax 912iS fuel injection engine. Main benefits are greater economy and no need for
carburettor heating. Engine runs much cleaner and has lower emissions than the
standard carburetted engine. Power is the same at 100 hp but torque very slightly less.
(NB - this engine requires a digital engine instrument panel. Analogue gauges do not operate with this engine)

$7,550

Carburettor hot air box, retro-fit kit (standard on new aircraft)

$950

Oil bypass thermostat (actual type may vary from photo) retro-fit kit. Reduces warm up time and
helps maintain even engine operating temperature (standard on new aircraft)

$495

Control options

Hand controls for people with disabilities. This option modifies the main centre throttle and
brake control to operate the steering and rudder by lateral (sideways) movements of the control - rudder pedals remain active in the usual way to enable flight training. Twin control yokes are
also required with this option

$1,650

Twin control yokes with centre throttle (n/a A22L2). Installed with PTT on each yoke,
centre throttle handle and attached brake lever, which is mounted on the throttle

$1,850

Avionics & instruments options

$10,500

TRIG TT21 Mode S transponder - future-proof yourself as Australian regulations move
